Not pictured moments before the video starts: me shooting Octane and almost breaking his shield (he's the reason I'm healing at the start of the video), he went to run to safety god knows where, doing god knows what, but apparently didn't heal (?) because he died to the ring when I was downing Lifeline and got his kill then. But sometimes, I get solo wins, and I'm left thinking 'Ok, but there were three of you, there were one of me, why the hell didn't you push the fuck out of me?' and this is one of them. Sometimes I get solo wins, and I truly believe I don't deserve them, because I'm just being a third-partying asshole who waited for the right time and the right moment like the sneaky bastard that I can be. So yeah, getting some skins from packs that you really wanted is a pretty fun feeling (and it's why they do the stuff like this.)

It was the Judge, Jury, Executioner skin for Lifeline and she was (and still is somewhat) my main legend, and I still think it's actually one of the best skins in the game. In the first one of these they did, I spent some on getting 3 packs I think? So 2100 coins? I wound up getting the 1 skin I absolutely wanted so I felt incredibly lucky like you. I agree with the thought on not spending money at all unless you'd be okay with any of the things you'd potentially get.

do I really want to spend that money on what's essentially just dress up? Especially since I've already dropped in the full price of a traditional release.Īlso, if this is what they've got right now, what's coming down the pipeline? Probably even more extremely tantalizing things honestly. Even though I'm mostly against F2P monetization/design influence on the whole, I really respect and support Respawn as a studio so I can justify it for sure. But man, the skin seems really cool, and I'm really tempted to drop another $60 on coins. Since I've already spent $60 on Apex Coins early in the game's lifespan, it's kind of hard to find the urge to pay for more coins, esp right now in particular. I love the quip also, which is another thing that makes it really attractive honestly. This Pathfinder skin + charm + quip seems really cool and worth the coins I think, especially if someone mains Path and especially if someone has yet to spend much money into the game. They probably released more of these, but I hadn't really been playing at all for most of the last year really so I haven't paid attention. Oh yeah, I'd finally seen the select screen animation and it's definitely really cool even cooler than Wraith's Voidwalker skin was IMO.
